I went home to my parents recently and they still have my toy monkey in my room. He has lost his voice now but mine also used to say 'Swing me Again' as well as 'Have a Bananan Munch Munch'. The trip home reminded me of the phrase so I looked it up on the net to see if anyone else had him.

I took a photo of him that i'll try to put into this message!

Hi,

I know you love Lee Beevers and think he is a legend...but he isnt quite the person he appears to be. He has a 3year old daughter in Ipswich who he has disowned and pays no maintanance to he wont even look at a photo of her. I know there has been a dna test done to prove that he is the father. I just hate to see people worship the ground he walks on when he really is not a person who should be idolised!

you've probably met them now so my advice is a bit late. the others are right, trying to "impress" always puts pressure on you coz you are acting. be yourself. if it's just a casual meeting i don't see why jeans and a nice top wouldnt suffice. If it's dinner at some nice place, dressing in a nice dress/outfrit would be appropriate. you both might be nervous. you both want to be liked. be polite but dress the way you like and it should be ok.

Well... to be honest, I agree with Corinna! Just be you... if you make such a big effort you will have to do that every time, when really it's just safer to be yourself!

Hey... I thought of you whilt we were playing Lincoln pre-season!! I'm still putting the lottery on... fingers crossed for Wednesday hey!

I'm the mother of a son and it's just as scarey from the other way round. If she turns out to be the girlfriend from Hell who I'm sure will ruin his life, I have to keep quiet, in case she turns into a daughter-in-law and I have to choose between being nice to her so my son keeps coming to see me, or being nasty and risking alienating my only child forever (or until his life is ruined, when I'll be too upset to say "I told you so").
Wear your normal clothes and be yourself - there's nothing so obvious as an act. And good luck!

Hi, I think you should just go for what you normally wear, then you'll be comfortable and they wont be shocked of you make a sudden transformation. Are you meeting at their house or going out?

I'm the one with the awful parents that hate everyone me and my brother go out with. They refused to meet my ex who I was with for over 2 years, and they made my brother's girlfriend cry. Just pray his parents aren't like that!

Awww my lil lincoln lass... Seems you are smitten so why not work on it? At least if there is an end you can say you never did give up on it! And that's the main thing really, in the past I have just upped and walked away and never looked back! But can I look back and say I worked on that??? Nope, I will always wonder "If I just did this, that or the other what would have happened?"
